The Turnpike Mall is a 207,000-square-foot retail mall located in Augusta, Maine, the State's capital. The property enjoys excellent visibility off Route 95 (the major north-south highway through Maine) and Route 202 (a major east-west roadway). Taurus recently renovated a former 60,000-square-foot Ames store and leased the entire space to Bed, Bath & Beyond and The Christmas Trees Shops. In addition, other major tenants include: Sears, TJ Maxx, Petco, and The Fashion Bug. Taurus has also executed a ground lease with Texas Roadhouse for a new 7,100-square-foot restaurant. The restaurant is expected to open for business during the late summer or early fall of 2008.
