Executed in Germany between 2004 and 2006, the Hornbach portfolio is an 8-asset, 120,000 sm (1.2MM SF) sale-leaseback transaction with one of the country's leading home improvement retail chains. With approximately €40MM of globally sourced invested capital, the €200MM ($300MM) project targeted pre-tax returns of 12-15%, but is expected to significantly outperform the target based on current market valuations.
