BUSINESS BRIEFS:
Investment firm sells Salem site

SALEM - Taurus Investment Holdings LLC, a real-estate investment firm, has sold one of the two Furniture World properties it bought a few months ago, according to records on file with the Rockingham County Registry of Deeds.

The company's Taurus Lowell Road LLC affiliate sold the site of the old Leather Expressions store at 26 Lowell Road to Lowell Audubon Holdings LLC for $6.4 million. As part of the earlier deal, which had a total value of $11.35 million, the company had paid $6.075 million for the property.

Earlier this year, Taurus also bought the site of Furniture World's old store at 419 South Broadway.

Furniture World, once New Hampshire's largest furniture business, closed earlier this year after more than 30 years in operation.
