John Kropke, Director of Taurus New York, sources, underwrites and closes real estate investments, in addition to working on acquisition financing and asset management. Mr. Kropke has more than 15 years of experience in real estate investment and asset management.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining Taurus of New York, Mr. Kropke was Head of Acquisitions of CastleGrace Management, an opportunistic value-add real estate fund. Until 2006, Mr. Kropke was Vice President of Acquisitions for Mack-Cali Realty Corporation (a publicly traded REIT with a market capitalization of more than $5.4 billion). As Vice President of Acquisitions, Mr. Kropke was responsible for all investment activity of the REIT, including acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio management. Prior to his position as Vice President of Acquisitions, Mr. Kropke was Director of Acquisitions and was responsible for acquisition activity in the Northeast. Prior to joining Mack-Cali in 1997, Mr. Kropke was an Asset Manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in the Real Estate Investment Department in New York. Mr. Kropke also worked in The Equity Transaction Group of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company's Real Estate Investment Department, where he was responsible for acquisitions and dispositions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions.
