Taurus Southern Investments has completed the DiscoveryTech Center II, Building One in the Central Florida Research Park (Taurus Southern Investments)
Jeff K. McFadden, managing partner of Winter Park-based Taurus Southern Investments LLC, said this week that the company has completed its 62,500-square-foot Discovery TechCenter II, Building One, in Orlando's Central Florida Research Park.
The building has earned gold-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, competition.
Tenants will see a number of tangible and measurable benefits, McFadden said, from lower long-term operating costs and higher employee work productivity levels.
Baker Barrios Architects Inc., Orlando, served as project architect. Taurus Southern is a subsidiary of Boston-based Taurus Investment Holdings LLC, which has 14 offices in the U.S. and seven more internationally.
Taurus Investment Holdings was founded in 1976 and established it Central Florida operations in 1990. |
